Video Mapping
Video Projection, 2023 - 2025
My curiosity in experimenting with video mapping projection started from my interest in researching Expanded Cinema, an experimental form of cinema that goes beyond the traditional screens and storytelling. It often includes live performance, multiple projections, installation, and audience participation. Coined by Gene Youngblood in the 1970s, the term refers to cinema that "expands" into space, time, and the body, challenging the passive viewing experience and merging art, technology, and consciousness. Since then, I’ve been experimenting with projection to create immersive experiences in diverse settings — from weddings and historic forts to party installations and gallery exhibitions.
